Fun Day & Presentation Night

Plans are being put in motion for the 1st Annual Fun Day and Presentation night to be held at DELPHI on 14th June 2008.

The club would like all players and parents to get involved and help out on the day. Anyone who has any ideas for events, stalls other areas please speak to a club committee member a.s.a.p. or email me theobaldd@aol.com.

 

5-A-SIDE COMPETITION

The first annual Woodlands Colts FC 5-a-side competition is being held on Saturday 14th June 2008 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk. 

Sponsor for this years event is Paul Ireland Electrical

Currently there are 52 Teams entered in the Tournament.

Quiz Night - 5th April 2008

The Quiz night was a great success, we raised £300 for the club.

Thanks go to Charlie Miller for putting on an excellent Quiz, and Sudbury Snooker Club who provided us with a venue and some excellent food.

Thanks to everyone who took part !!!!  Well done to the winners (clever clogs !!!)

Tesco - Vouchers for Sport

The club has now registered with Tesco's and can now start collecting the

TESCO'S - VOUCHERS FOR SPORT

these are available from Tesco when you spend over £10 in their store.

The deadline has now passed for the voucher collection. The club has now ordered a new first aid kit for the Under 14's and 10 new match balls. Collecting these vouchers has saved the club £300 at present.

CURRENT TOTAL = 3000+

Ipswich and Suffolk Youth League

REGISTRATION FORMS (GREEN FORM)  have been sent out to ALL players who meet the age criteria. Please complete the form as instructed and return to your manager a.s.a.p. - please be careful when filling in the form, as dirty and damaged forms will not be accepted by the league. Please be aware that NO PHOTOGRAPHS are required by the league. Without the registration form, you will not be allowed to play. This form does not apply to the Under 8's for 2007/08.

 

Child Welfare Officer

Gene Yates has now completed the Child Welfare Officer training courses and becomes the Clubs new C.W.O. (child welfare officer). If anyone has any concerns on and off the pitch please speak to Gene. The C.W.O. is available for all to use Players, Parents and Coaches/Officials. Contact details for Gene are on the Contacts page.
